California luxury home market – just reported on July 27, 2013 by the California Association of Realtors, “higher-end markets continued to show strong growth on a year-over-year basis. Sales above $500,000 increased 33.6 percent when compared to June 2012, and sales of million dollar plus homes jumped 31.7 percent from last year. This was evident in coastal markets such as San Francisco County, Marin County, and Santa Cruz as all of them experienced double-digit sales increase in June”.
Martis Camp – has already exceeded last year’s home sales with 8 sales this year versus 7 in all of 2012, with a median sales price of $3.3 million and an average price per square foot of $886. There are currently 14 homes for sale in Martis Camp at a median price of $4.5 million. With the brisk lot sales in Lahontan, we now have almost as many lots for sale in Martis Camp as we do in Lahontan! There are currently 24 resale lots for sale in Martis Camp at a median price of $1.2 million and we have had just 8 resale lots sell this year at a median price of $0.8 million.
Lahontan – home inventories remain low in Lahontan, there are currently just 8 homes for sale on the market at a median price of $2.2 million and an average price per square foot of $517. Since the first of the year we have had an all-time record of 43 lot sales in Lahontan…see enclosed sales summary for details!
Northstar – homes sales in Big Springs at Northstar have slowed down a little since the spring; only one home has gone into escrow since March. There are currently 8 homes for sale at a median price of $1.8 million and an average price per square foot of $459.
